The AIRPASS project brings together Research Centers, Industry, and Universities. This enables the project to ensure growth towards a high TRL (Technology Readiness Level) and interoperability to existing systems on the one hand, while some initial concepts will be of low TRL. The consortium supports the objectives of the European Commission to promote gender equality in research and innovation, as outlined in Article 16 of Horizon 2020.

The TU Braunschweig (English: “University of Brunswick – Institute of Technology”) is the oldest technische Universität[de] (comparable to an institute of technology in the American system) in Germany. It was founded in 1745 as Collegium Carolinum and is a member of TU9, an incorporated society of the most renowned and largest German institutes of technology. It is commonly ranked among the top universities for engineering in Germany.
